I feel like we're working as a team to bring about better dental health, something that many dentists are unable to do without using toxic chemicals such as fluoride and similar products. What really amazes me is Tooth by the Lake's (TBTL) absence of dental smell that 99.9% of dental clinics emit. TBTL does not have that. What makes this of particular relevance is understanding the powerful role that the sense of smell has with memories, both good and bad. Because of a good purification system, TBTL does not have that dental odor. As a result, it has helped to replace the odor-associated traumatic memory response with better memories. For those of us with preexisting dental-phobia, this is huge. Consequently, dental anxiety is substantially lessened."

"I had an old bridge redone by Kari Seaverson in 2009 and it is amazing. It fits in naturally with my other teeth. She has you go to the lab where it is made to take pictures of your smile. It is worth the time and energy to do this. The material I picked does not cause any inflammation in my gums. I have had many people not believe it is a bridge. It is so nice to have a selection. Of materials to pick something you are not allergic/sensitive to.
I started crying when I first saw it because it is so beautiful. It is my front center teeth and I lost the tooth when I was 6 so it’s a big deal to me.
I did the ozone therapy in 2016 when my anchor teeth where infected and I have been able to keep them with no further signs or symptoms of further infection. Again a very big deal to be able to keep my anchor teeth of 34 years.
The staff is always friendly to. It is not close to my house in south Minneapolis but they are worth the trip out to the cute downtown of Hopkins!"

They use up-to-date and safe dental materials and procedures because they understand the vital link between good dental care and overall good health.

"If you have suffered mediocre to poor dental experiences, you will “come home” at Tooth by the Lake.

After 3-D dental experiences (devastating, damaging, and just downright dangerous), an out-of-state contact referred me to Tooth by the Lake in 2002.

One special accolade: I suffered molar pain. Consults with two dental professionals advised definitely a crown and likely a root canal. I sought help from Tooth by the Lake. Dr. Tschetter advised a conservative approach first by replacing the loose filling. It worked. He saved the tooth and costly procedures. I’ve been 100% since.

My husband and I agree that:

•Our dental health and knowledge of general health has improved since 2002 because of our patient care from this holistic dental clinic.

"What I love about Tooth By The Lake is they always take care of me in every way. Even in ways that I did not even know existed they take care of me. They give me oxygen during my treatment, so that I'm not breathing any silver filling fumes that are coming out of my teeth. They realize as well that oxygen in the blood in the system help the body to work for effectively for healing.

Since they treat silver amalgam fillings so seriously, they make sure to put a rubber dam in my mouth, so as not to let any silver bits fall into my system when they are doing the extraction. To go a step even further than that, after my treatment they give me charcoal pills to swallow down with vitamin C water so that if any silver for whatever reason got into my system the charcoal could stick to it and be flushed out of my body.

If after a treatment I am dealing with some tightness of the jaw from opening my mouth too long; they have these beautiful lights that shine onto my jaw to relax them."

"Had to have an amalgam removal and was seriously questioning removal due to concerns surrounding the effects on my whole body of removing fillings with Mercury in them. Dr tschetter was very very understanding and talked to me without rushing about the pros and cons and how to manage removal etc. I can't tell you how much his knowledge and clear communication yard my fears.hes a smart man. A healthy man. And I ruefully do not trust many people wwith my own health.... But I DO trust him. The removal of filling went fine and I felt nothing and they do everything possible to reduce the amount of mercury that is absorbed into patients body. I'm confident that this was the safest place to do this. Tooth by the lake is great!"

"I have obstructive sleep apnea So in the dentist chair when I'm tipped back it's very hard to breathe. I get panic attacks. The
Tooth By The Lake staff have had really good suggestions for me! It's possible for me to now get the treatment I need. I use a guided imagery track from iTunes. A pillow under my neck to tip my chin out, and a few other tricks. Sometimes acupuncture, decongestants, other supplements for anxiety. A week or more of the hypnosis cd at home at night before my appointment. I am trying many things!

Because they are patient with me and really nice about my needs I try to stay in the chair for as long as I possibly can. Hopefully I don't need to go back for a while but at least now I have some strategies. Talk to them
